"Your true nature is happiness & bliss" - Ramana Maharshi
Sri Ramana Maharshi, an Indian sage who was born at the end of the 19th century, and who at the age of 16 discovered his true nature to be that which doesn't die when the body dies, is the founder of this spiritual lineage.
Sri H.W.L Poonja, "Papaji," met his master Ramana at his sacred mountain, Arunachala, in the south of India in the late 1940s. He then shared his realisations with others in Satsang in Lucknow until his death in 1997. He is responsible for Satsang spreading throughout the world.
Gangaji and Eli Jaxon-Bear, who met their teacher, Papaji, in India in 1990, have dedicated their lives to sharing this message of freedom, peace, and love with the world through Satsang.
